1. Purpose and content of the website

This website provides information about visiting the Royal Palace and you can book admission tickets online via this website.

3. Type of information offered

The information available on this website is of a general nature. The information is not adapted to personal or specific circumstances and therefore cannot be considered as personal, professional or legal advice. This website and all services offered are provided as available and ‘as is’ and without any guarantees.

4. Booking and payment of tickets

On the website, you can buy admission tickets online for a visit to the Royal Palace.

Your order will be processed by Eventim, which is subject to Eventim's Terms and Conditions.

If you have not received the purchased ticket, please contact Eventim via the contact form to find out the cause of the problem.

5. Conditions of reservation and use of tickets

When reserving a ticket online, you are responsible for specifying the correct time and filling in the correct personal details for yourself and any visitors before placing the order. Once the order has been placed and paid for, the purchase is final and no change to the time of visit or to the personal details entered, nor any refund, is possible. If you and/or your visitors present yourself at the wrong time, or if you bring visitors who were not included in the reservation, we may deny you and/or your visitors access to the Royal Palace without this giving rise to any right to reimbursement of your ticket.

Online tickets may be sold at the purchase price or given away in order to be used by third parties.

The ticket with QR code must be shown at the entrance to the Royal Palace. This can be done either via a mobile device or via a clearly legible printout on paper. If the print on paper is illegible (e.g. because the QR code cannot be read), we cannot be held responsible for this and may refuse access to the Royal Palace to you or any visitors.

6. Information on right of withdrawal

The legal right of withdrawal, pursuant to Article VI.53, 12° of the Economic Code, does not apply to the purchase of ‘services relating to leisure activities, if the contracts provide for a specific date or period of performance’. The purchase of online tickets via this website falls under this exception, so you may not exercise the statutory right of withdrawal in relation to online tickets purchased.

7. Liability

We make every effort, but offer no guarantee, to ensure that the operation of the website and the information displayed on it is complete, correct, accurate and up-to-date. Despite these efforts, inaccuracies may occur. If the website should contain errors or if certain information should be unavailable, an effort will be made to correct this as soon as possible. If you notice any inaccuracies in the information provided, please contact us.

We will make every effort to secure the Website using all reasonable means, and to limit any inconveniences caused by technical faults as much as possible. However, we cannot rule out the possibility of incorrect technical manoeuvres or unauthorised interventions. For these reasons, we cannot guarantee that access to the website will not be interrupted or hindered in any other way by such problems. Under no circumstances can we be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of this website or the information made available.

8. Intellectual property

8.1. Website content

The intellectual rights to the content of the website belong to the Civil List of HM, the King. Unless otherwise stated, the rights are not limited in time and apply to all countries.

Without prejudice to the exceptions listed below, any network configuration, whole or partial copy, download, reproduction, adaptation, publication, public communication and any other proprietary act regarding the content of this website, including its graphic design and the underlying source and object code and databases, is subject to the prior consent of the Civil List of H.M. the King.

8.2. Private use

Notwithstanding the above, the Civil List of HM, the King, grants a license to the user who accepts it, under the following conditions:

The license grants the user the right to a non-collective, non-exclusive, personal and non-commercial use of the texts posted online. It includes the reproduction right for storage, for display on a monopost screen and reproduction, in a single copy, for backup or printing on paper.

This right is personal, and is reserved for exclusive and non-collective use by the licensee. The right may not be transferred.

An exception is made for non-commercial school and educational use.

8.3. Hyperlinks

Notwithstanding the above, reference to this website via hyperlinks is free and may be made without consent. However, the pages of this site may not be incorporated into the pages of any other site.

8.4. Reproduction of the texts

Unless otherwise stated, the texts, legends and other written information on the website are the property of the Civil List of HM, the King. Notwithstanding the above, these texts may be reproduced free of charge, without prior permission, for private or non-commercial use, provided the source is acknowledged as follows: ©Royal Palace, Brussels, Belgium.

Translations that are done on their own initiative must mention the following: ‘translation not completed by the author of the text’ as well as the source.

8.5. Reproduction of images

Unless stated otherwise, the General Directorate for External Communication of the FPS Chancellery of the Prime Minister and/or the Civil List of HM, the King, hold the copyrights to the photos and visual elements of the texts. These photos and visual elements may not be copied, used or reproduced without the prior written consent of the Civil List of HM, the King, and/or of the General Directorate for External Communication of the FPS Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

Unless otherwise stated, the press agency Belga holds the copyright to any photographs of the Royal Family that may be used. These photos may not be copied, used or reproduced.

Unless otherwise stated, the photographer Karin Borghouts hold the copyright to photographs of the Royal Palace that may be used on the site. These photos may not be copied, used or reproduced.

If the author’s name is not mentioned with a photo, the publisher has been unable to identify them, or the author or the rights-holders, despite all efforts to this effect. If an author recognises their work, they may contact the Civil List of HM, the King.

8.6. Prosecution

Non-compliance with these provisions and any unlawful use of all or part of the contents of the website may be prosecuted.

9. Changes

These Terms of Use may evolve. It is your responsibility to regularly review the applicable terms. These Terms of Use were last amended and revised on 19 March 2025.

11. Applicable law and applicable court
